Vapour proof reflexive barrier foil ALPET
Description:
Vapour proof barrier foils Svitapfol N are 3 layers materials, consisting of PE reticle, that is sealed and waterproof thank to the PE foil.
Vapour proof barrier foil Svitapfol Al N is 3 layers material, consisting of PE reticle and Al foil that provides its reflexive properties. Al foil together with PE foil provides high waterproof, vapour resistant and reflexive properties.
Alpet – is 3 layers material (Alpet economic) and 4 layers material (Alpet super). Major material is PE reticle and PES foil with coated Al layer, which enables foil to be reflexive. PES foil together with PE foil provides high waterproof and vapour resistant properties. Vapour proof barriers are produced with standard flammability C3, and with lowered flammability C1.
Functions/applications:
Vapour proof barriers Svitapfol N, and vapour proof reflexive barriers Svitapfol Al and Alpet provides protection against vapour creates by building inhabitants. Thank to the vapour barrier foil’s properties the water cannot get on roof’ s wooden construction and insulation. Foil provides protection against moulds and rotting of the roof’s construction.
Both foils have reflexive property, which helps to keep the heat in the house (foil is acting as a heat mirror).
Both foils contains compact Al layer, and therefore eliminates the electromagnetic radiance, which is dangerous for human body, in the house.
All vapour proof foils have excellent strength, so the installation is easy and safe. Thank to it strength foils cannot be broken or ripped apart. Foils construction enables them to remain elastic for a very long time.
Assembling:
Vapour barrier foils and vapour barrier reflexive foils are placed between insulation and inner walls facing. They are laid horizontally on the inner side of rafters, or other parts of roof’s construction, and very close to the insulation. Barriers are fixed with staples, or zinced and aluminium nails. Each hole has to be sealed. It is bloody important to stick on each barrier’s foil very carefully with sticking tape, exclude any holes, seal the barrier foil to the all constructions, windows with the us of special sticking tape. Vapour tightness has not to be interrupted by water and electricity distribution pipes.
For maximum reflexive performance is necessary to:
- laid the aluminium vapour reflexive barrier foil’s layer towards the interior of the building.
- there has to be a gap of 4-6 cm between foil and the interior wall’s face side
Weight tolerances:
Weight tolerance is +/- 10% of stated price.
Packing:
Foils are supplied in rolls 1,5x50 m, packed in PE sleeve.
Marked with: black stripe.
Storing:
Rolls should be stored in vertical position, in a dark storehouse without direct sun.

Svitapfol 150 NT
Description:
Under roof foil Svitapfol 150 NT is 4 layers material. Its construction is PE rectile and special fibre fabric. Thank to its design, the foil could be placed directly on the roof’s timbering. 2 cm ventilation gap between timbering or roof’s cover need to be created (lower ventilating layer).
Function:
Foil is protecting attic against dust and smut. Foil act as an insulation protection against water.
Assembling:
Rules for assembling are same as for vapour permeable foils assembling. Svitapfol 150 NT has not the edge stripe, therefore the foil’s stripes has to be carefully laid on top of each other (edges). For details see table. Svitapfol 150 NT is to be laid with nonwoven layer towards the room.
Production weight tolerances:
Weight tolerance is +/- 10% of stated weight.
Packing:
Foils are supplied in 1,5x50 m rolls, wrapped in stretch foil, or PE sleeve.
Storing:

Svitapfol 150 NT under roof foil application
Ventilated roof system, roof’s cover on lathing, timbering
SVITAPCON – anti-condensing under roof foil
Description:
SVITAPCON is 4 layers foil, very strong. Foil is ideal for roof systems with sheet metal roof covers. Foil can be used in classical roof systems. Reinforcing rectile provide strength for the foil, upper foil’s part provide waterproof property. The lower part is coated with the nonwoven textile, which has liquid absorbing properties.
Functions:
Foil protects inner building construction against dust, smut and humidity from rain and snow. Absorbing layer from nonwoven textile prevent the vapour from getting on insulation layer and inner space of the building. When the temperatures are stabilised, the condensed humidity is ventilated with an air stream. This foil is stronger, if compared with other foils, and has higher UV stability.
Assembling:
Foil is laid horizontally on the roof - the nonwoven textile should face towards inner space of the building. All ventilation holes need to be protected against insect and animals. Foil is fixed to the roof with the staples and stainless steel nails. The gaps between cross beam cannot exceed 1,2 m. The foil needs to be fixed with lathing on the roof.

Description:
Contact membranes with high vapour permeability Svitaweb are polyolefin materials made from several layers of nonwoven textile with inner modification preventing the water get on insulating. Thank to its construction, the Svitaweb can be applied for protection of sloping roofs to preventing water get on insulating materials and ventilate the vapour. For its high vapour permeability are suitable to use in all kinds of sloping roofs.
Function:
Foil protects attic against smut, dust and water. Enables the vapour to be ventilated out of the building.
Assembling:
Contact membranes with high vapour permeability Svitaweb can be laid directly on insulating, timbering etc. They have to be laid horizontally, with sign Svitaweb outwards the building. Recommended overlaid of each stripe is explained with the sign tape. Contact membrane can be laid directly on timbering, eventually other surface. Horizontally laid foil along the roof is fixed with zinc-coated nails, or staples to the beams. Assembling starts at the gutter towards the ridge of a roof. Foil is fixed with lathing. The roof’s cover has to be laid 4 months at latest after foil.
Packing:
Contact membranes are supplied in rolls of with 150 cm and length of 50 m, wrapped in PE sleeve, or stretch foil.
Storing:
Rolls should be stored in vertical position, in a dark storehouse without direct sun.
