The new SAVUDRIA sailing jacket is named after the oldest lighthouse in Croatia and was designed specifically for the demanding conditions of the Mediterranean – sudden weather changes, strong winds, and salty air. The makers didn’t overlook weight or wearing comfort either. The key to its functionality is the textile laminate with a hydrophilic Nanomembrane, which is produced by us – SVITAP.
What Makes This Laminate Exceptional?
Our laminates are made using a unique adhesive application technology, which ensures:
- high water resistance (water column 18,000 mm),
- excellent breathability (RET 6),
- 100% windproof performance.
Thanks to these properties, STINGRAY clothing can withstand even the harshest weather conditions – not only at sea but also during any outdoor activity on land.
Local Production from Fiber to Final Product
A major advantage of the STINGRAY collection is its strong emphasis on local production. The clothing is made in the Czech Republic, from Czech materials – from cotton and merino wool to our functional laminates. The company pays attention to every detail – taped seams, water-repellent threads, and YKK waterproof zippers come as standard.
Customers are also offered the possibility of personalization – from color selection to custom inscriptions, club flags, or initials.
