K9-RINGO: Fabric from Svitavy that Protects Dog Handlers Around the World
At SVITAP, we have been dedicated to the development and production of technical fabrics for many years. These fabrics find applications in a wide range of industries. One of the products we are particularly proud of is K9-RINGO – a protective fabric specifically designed for training service and working dogs. This material helps protect handlers and trainers not only in the Czech Republic but across the globe.
What Does "K9" Mean?
The abbreviation K9 comes from the word canine and is pronounced “kay-nine.” It was first used during World War II in the United States to designate military dogs. Today, it is recognized worldwide, especially in police, military, and rescue dog training.

K9-RINGO – Protective Fabric for Dog Handlers
We developed K9-RINGO for the production of protective clothing, training sleeves, bite tugs, and other essential tools for effective dog training. Its main advantages include exceptional strength and tear resistance – features that are absolutely crucial under the heavy demands of training scenarios.
The fabric is made from a blend of cotton and polyamide, which provides outstanding tensile strength – several times higher than standard fabrics. We also offer a variety of color options, enabling not only practical but also aesthetic use.
Proven Quality Recognized Worldwide
We export our K9-RINGO fabric to numerous countries – including Portugal, France, Canada, the USA, the Netherlands, Finland, and Hungary. We are proud that Czech quality holds a firm place even in demanding international markets.
For Professionals and Enthusiasts
K9-RINGO is designed not only for professional handlers and instructors but also for breeders, sport dog trainers, and passionate enthusiasts. It is widely used for the production of protective suits, sleeves, and various training tools.
