Stingray SEA Savudria Sailing Set 100% Passed the Sea Endurance Test
You know that great feeling when your work truly proves itself in practice? That’s exactly what we experienced when we tested sailing gear made by the Czech brand Stingray. Their SEA collection is designed and manufactured entirely in the Czech Republic, using our textile laminates - materials that protect against water and wind while remaining lightweight and comfortable.
SVITAP Textile Laminates as a Key Component of Clothing
We tested the Savudria men’s jacket and matching trousers, designed for off-shore sailing in the Mediterranean.
The Savudria model combines:
· Excellent waterproofing (water column 18,000 mm),
· Breathability RET 6,
· 100% windproof performance,
· Hydrophilic NANOMEMBRANE membrane plus water-repellent seams and threads.
The textile laminate we produce for STINGRAY forms a key layer of their technical solution. Our membrane ensures a high level of waterproofness and breathability while maintaining maximum user comfort. Together, this creates clothing that protects you even in strong winds — and still allows for all-day comfortable movement.
Test Route: Split – Brač – Makarska – Hvar – Milna
We tested the outfit directly on a yacht, sailing from Split via Brač to Makarska and back through Hvar. The temperature stayed around 17 °C, with Jugo winds at 20–25 knots, and the sea definitely put us to the test.
What was the result of Savurdia test?
